Waiting for the big day ???

Waiting for the big day ???

I am secretly anticipatingly, waiting for the big day to arrive, whilst I am so pleased to see another Christmas and thankful to be alive.. I am just a big kid in an old fashioned sweety shop, staring at all the jars of candies and the sugar-coated lollipop..I love the week before we wake up in the morning when Santa Claus has been, that magical moment in your living room with that festive crazy scene

Presents all of different shapes and sizes scattered on the floor, sorted out in people’s piles and you can hardly get in the door.. but Oh what a wonderful sight when your children hurry down the stairs, they open the door with widened eyes and those huge disbelief glares..hunting thru the hoards of stuff in the brimming santa bags, desperately searching sleepy-eyed for their own name on the tags..then there’s those that tear the paper off making the maximum of mess and other’s who take their time relishing the process..Mother grabs all the ripped shreads and stuffs it in the rubbish bin, meticulously making sure no missed unwrapped presents goes in

Well after all that build of preperation and excitement, Christmas morning is almost gone, seasonal smells waft from the kitchen and the turkey is nearly done.. everyone sniffs the air, appetites can hardly wait, Mother’s panicking with her apron on looking in a hot and bothered state.. but that’s just what Mother’s do, they like to get everything just right, but poor souls have such alot to do.. is it neither wonder they get up-a-height ??
