WAITING TO FIND LOVE ---- WASTED BEFORE TIME

In the woodline
standing rushed in quiet carved stillness
I wait to watch

THE MYSTIC STRETCH OF DISTANCE
where ancient earth melts again into the light
small wooden cabin
with a winter washed log pile
guarding a drifting hall of vented calm

she had sung her way
into wilder takings
the long strewn horizon setting hair
waist length
in flowery meadows

she disturbs winters eager dress
placing ax cut fuel
in her folded arms

Dare I break again across stilted stunted years
brave times chained emotions
I imagine being graced by the following print
behind left in winters kinder crush
stumbling within her arms
sheltering found,
greeted lost and long-awaited lover

Yet im still created
in this woodline

 CAN A WAVE BE RIDDEN
ONCE THE HEART
HAS BREACHED ONTO THE SAND STREWN SHORES
