Death Waits

Death Waits

My chest is heavy with
the pain it holds
Darkness forms around
me upon this night
Everything is harder
than it use to be

aside from the
shadow of death

Death whispers in the
silence of the night
Watching his hour glass
that marks my time
He sits there calmly
waiting in the silence

Fear grips this beating
heart of mine
As time slowly starts to
fade in the dust
Whispering in my ear
that my time is near

He raises his hour glass as
the last grain falls
He opens the dark abyss of
hell waiting for me
The flames slowly dances
as my time has come
And death has finally claim
the prize he wanted

My time has come that
slowly fades away
Leaving a world full of
hatred and death
But bounded by pain
and suffering
