Waking up to die again

Everday is a new day
I watch it die away inside me
Life is what we make it we say
Only it is plain as can be
I didn't ask for this
I never wanted this
The child inside is my truth
Waking up inside my eyes

A fragmant of the universe
I was once so optimistic for
Only to see that they never wanted me to prevail but suffer
