Poem -
Walk A Mile In My Shoes
Walk a mile in my shoes,
go on,I beg you,I dare.
If you do,
you'll get sore feet,
because the soles of shoes
are so worn away,
they're very barely there.
If you walked a mile in my shoes,
your feet will soon feel sore
because the nice thick,comfy soles
they used to have,
have worn away
and are there no more.
I've dodged each obstacle in my way
as I've trod with blistered feet
but at times have found
I've had to run
from other travellers
that unfortunately I did meet.
This road I tread,
seems to be endless,
will it ever end?
Will I find myself
a new road to tread?
Then my shoes,
I'll need to mend!
