Wanderlust

I want to wake up and watch the sunrise and fall in love with it all over again as if it is the first time I’ve seen the sky make room for the light. 

I want to dip my toes into the sea and let the cold wash over me as I gaze at the ripples as I stand in the way of the ocean trying to breathe. 

I want to climb a mountain and watch the trees wave to me whilst the wind whispers into my ears as my lungs freeze with each breath. 

I want to lay and stare into the sky to watch the stars as they glisten for me to notice them, twinkling so brightly, waiting all day to dance with the night.
