Warm and Toasty

Cuddled up in coziness
snug as a bug in a rug
Huddled from the frozeness
I give myself a hug
I’ve shivered and quiveredÂ
I really have the shakes
but no matter how many layers I wear I am cold for goodness sakes
Tho they do say that when one is getting on abit one will feel the cold
Well I can certainly vouch for this coz I am growing old
Wintertime is wearisomeÂ
It lingers far too long
Tho I love Christmas with festivities
so please don’t get me wrong
But this biting blowy breeziness chills me to the bone
Tho I try to fight the freeziness
yet I end up as cold as stone
Well at this moment in time I am wrapped up in a dream
warm and toasty in my sleeping bag
I’m like the Cat that’s got it’s cream
