A sprinkle of sodium nitrate, a dash of bacterial spores, sends us into a palatel frenzy, wanting more and more.
WHO shall state that this meat is unsafe for human consumption, labels far to late for the mass of colorectal cancer churning inside
I've already died.
A tumor of proccesed meat, ageing, festering within me delivered by the brown envelopes circling within the meat industry.
Industrialised livestock is what we've become, harvesting the growth of human ingnorance for the love of dead flesh, but do you know that we are knawing on rotting teeth, torn ligaments and cold pig feet.
I see the now and the now is bleak, as we continue to feast on neatly packaged slices of carcinogenic meat.

Awesome write Gerard. I have to say though, I love eating meat and don't spend time worrying about its affects.
I've done far worse things that are bad for my health. Maybe one day I'll clean up act.

Wow GERARD!!..... so glad I caught this write!!..... there are the obvious things to say about this piece and most of it is covered in the comments above......I just wanted to add that this write is superbly well crafted..... with rhymes in the center of phrases and dangling perfectly at the ends of them as well...... with a great choice in the way that it is formatted adding to the flow which, when read aloud, reads with such beautifully timed elegance that it conveys its intent with such smooth subtlety that it drives home that intent perfectly and poetically!!..,....
