Was it a dream

Was it a dream

Jolted from a bad dream to a room without light

Out of bed I proceed to the door, the lights will not come on.

Upon opening my door, I see a light at the end of the hall.

I proceed into the hall only to see light, fog and a figure.

Why are you here, I speak but no words come out!

The figure turns to leave, I try again to speak, “please do not go”.

Now I see your face, the words you speak while walking away, “Everything will be okay”!

Awaken again was it a dream or were you there?

American Indians claim that our dreams are premonitions of things in our lives yet to come, Shelly.
Perhaps you'll soon meet that tall, dark, handsome stranger so many lovely ladies seem to like to talk about.
Best wishes to you!
