Wasted Years

Wasted Years

I see you sitting in the silence of

a pale moon lit night

With tears of sadness that stream

down your pale white face

Bounded by the love that you hold

deep down in your dark heart

Makes you wonder if the love we

share be true againΒ

The years that I wasted giving you

my heart and soul

The flame it once held put out

with the cold dark heart

You held the dagger high aboveΒ

ripping this beating heart of mine

What have I done to have faith lay

this judgement upon my soul

But to offer the love I have burningΒ

deep down in this soul of mine

My love slowly dies with the memories

we once shared deep withinΒ
