Water

I am a creature of water

Of the abandoned strands of hair, clogging the drain

Of the dewy moldly ceiling, heaving with abundant moisture

Of the splattering of toothpaste froth, caking the neglected sink

Of the unclean stained shower walls, fogging with the filthy spray

Of the starch powdered floor, mudding under unwashed feet

Of the blurry reflection, matting hair, and dripping skin

The personification of uncleaniness and inpurity
