Poem -

Water

Letting the water run over my head
I close my eyes I keep seeing the dead
I see Brian and my grandpa sitting and waiting
Whats taking so long buddy?
We know you miss us.
I hold my breathe under the water
Now let's see how long before I pass out.
Therapy is there trying to help
But if that doesn't work what else will help?
This dream the other night scared me
I was swinging away I saw my soul leave me.
The rope got tighter and the light got brighter
I woke up wondering. What happens after?
