The Waters

I like to call my mind the Waters,

for I stay swimming in my thoughts.

Forever diving before eye talk,

but I can still see those who are just stuck wading.

Barely scratching at the surface,

as my vision keeps on fading.

So I turn on my inner guide-light,

to assist me in my quest.

I might be too deep in these Waters,

I think it'd be better to save my breath.
