WAVING FROM ACROSS THE STREET

He looked out from his window sill
There he spotted his neighbour Bill
Bill waved to him from across the street
That's when he noticed him talking to Pete

He looked out from his window again
He happened to spot his friend Glen
Glen waved to him from across the street
One of the nicest men you should ever meet

He looked out from his window once more
This time there wasn't anybody for sure
Nobody to wave him from across the street
So he left his window and made a hasty retreat
