Waxes Away (Forgetting the christmas Spirit)

At last the season is here

A time of love, forgiveness and a time to share

But don't you often wonder what comes some days after

Maybe its too much eating, drinking and laughter

we suddenly forget the very reason we came together

causing serious chaos to the point that we can't stand each other

There are things that are so obvious that should be admitted

But we all have our pride which makes it hard to agree but easy to be offended

The drama of having everyone arguing all families try to avoid 

So making the invitation list end up making us so paranoid

For some see this season as a weakness to exploit ones kindness

seeking love and comfort, pretending and acting for deep down they are heartless

Knowing this fact make some cold, some sarcastic, other warm but not stupid

Trying their best to let go and blend in as if they're been shoot by cupid

We always say that we will respect one another and definitely find a way

but as soon as the feast is over and we leave this place, it's like the promises and lessons  we learnt waxes away.

Well, let's hope this year will be better, hope the Christmas spirit won't wonder away.
