We Perish Beauty (Inspired by Rihanna: “Numb”)

Catch a soul—my sin—such glorious sin. Oh the wheel, a mystic
Nightmare; and oh the numbness—to love regardless. And
Such hate—a wicked love. Taste the sin, such filthy sin, and
Such torrid love. How deep the fall—my dungeon love—my
Gothic love. We perish beauty—absorbed in sin—such lavish
Sin. Cry my neighbor’s soul: awake the numbness—my
Goddess scar. Such trespass, a lively lust—to shatter numbness.
And she appears—my nightmare—the deepest womb. My
Blood, thirst of such sin: my pulse, the numbest love. And
Such panic—a frantic heart; and such exhaust, a room of smoke.
My attic, ecstatic numbness; and she appears: a severed wrist.
I awake—a glorious sin—a demon’s lust. Ignore the portrait—
My flashing sin—we perish beauty. And such numbness—to
Transgress the portal; and such life, to pledge the sin.
