WE SAY WERE IN LOVE

We say we love each other,

so why can't we get along,

why can't act like we belong, together.

Small disagreements,

become huge mountains,

vulgar words,

pour out our mouths like fountains.

It's becoming a heavy load,

two ticking time bombs,

ready to explored,

can we fix this,

or has this relationship just gotten old.

Hope that's not the situation,

five years in this relation,

still learning the meaning of patience.
