AS WE TURN

AS WE TURN

You sleep to the right of me, and I

sleep to the left of you

and God is centered between His creations.

The levity of strangers

who do not or cannot know these balances

will never understand the Spirit.

When we turn in the bed

we counteract the other in unison, for we

are twin souls tied by His Grace.

The everglades of Florida

live people that turn in this way

and like the geese have migrated into the air

flying now above our heads.

As a child you always slept to right of me

and the unanswered bell rung

letting me know of your existence

long before

I ever touched or laid eyes on you.

Out of synchronicity

so many lives are filtered and contained

guided by angelic harmonies

rocking in the wake of these certainties.

Appearance of knowledge

is nothing but a dress code of the Spirit

making an impression on lesser minds

by its checks and balances.

The Lord on high

rebukes or has no interest in your victories

unless they have manifested in Good.

Those who are earmarked

know that Gods workings are in them

as the radar of the senses

keep you in the bat cave of our reality.

To love God is to know God

and the ill workings of mankind’s lust for greed.

We separate ourselves in these cadences

turning as the tide turns, and

syncopated in its turnings we resound.

We are all, twin souls by Gods virtues alone

encased in our cages

delivering peace to a chaotic World.

Tonight as I turn with you

I will absolutely know that God is with us.
