Poem -

WE WERE MEANT TO BE

WE WERE MEANT TO BE

Ours is beyond what the eyes can see
Held in the clutches of eternity
A love declared by the lips of angels
Two hearts overflowing
Like an artesian well

You are the light of all my days
Your love unfolds in many beautiful ways
It keeps me safe in its cocoon
Then transforms my life
From a half to a full moon

And though at times we are surprised
By those unpredictable storms
Our love undaunted faces the fire
And on eagles wings
Guides us safely home

For the rest of my days
By your side I'll remain
Until death enfolds me

And without a doubt
I will shout it aloud
That our love was meant to be.

Wilford Barker.

Sir Tony.
Lately I've been writing about love.. As a recipient on the sweet side..
But this for me is truly fictional... For I have never experienced such in my relationships..
If I did, it's blurred.. But as I keep reading poems of love on Cosmofunnel, I am inspired..
Thanks to all of you for my cyber love experience.
I appreciate you always my Brother and friend.
Stay in the fold.
