Poem -

Weak and alone

Tired and distant
Weak and wanting

A world full of peopleĀ

Lying in solitude.Ā

The pain grows daily

In that I'm not alone

Yet here I lie

In deafening silence.Ā

Family has past

Friends are now strangersĀ

My only remaining solaceĀ

Words have yet to fail me.Ā

In time that too will fade

As my strength fails meĀ

My will all but gone

Lying here, weak and alone
