Weather of Darkness

Please help me stay strong,
As the temptation that's set before me is wrong,
And I know it cannot be,
As you have a better life ahead for me.

I run to my Rock, my Shelter,
To which you cover me in this storm,
Until the weather of darkness subsides,
And light shines to divide.

If I can just keep my eyes on you,
This will be what I choose,
For I know you only have good in store,
A blessing of your Presence that I so adore.
