WEEPING WILLOW

WEEPING WILLOW

Weeping willow

Why do you weep

Is it because

They don’t hear you

When you speak

Or maybe because

Your hanging branches look weak

Why can’t they realize

That you are unique

Your branches hang low

To keep them from the heat

You try to rescue

Every person you meet

Obstacles ahead you often defeat

Your root to life is grounded in deep

The way you grow

You catch the breeze

And release it to the people

According to their needs

So weeping willow don’t you cry

Know that Allah/God is by your side!
