West Wing

In the west wing there sat

A table

With intricate design

A work of craftsmanship

Overshadowed

By the beauty that stood upon it

In a glass case

There stood a beautiful red rose

With green stem and thorns

For years the rose stood

And each year, a petal fell

To decide one's fate

Forevermore
