What am i

06/02/2022
What am I?
In the dead of a wet and drizzly night,
I through shapes at the side of a road full of puddles,
 Some times through ice.
Making surreal images appear in bushes,
Up trees,
And all over the verges.
I often look at you and think,
Why did the world create this misshapen being‽
I’m like a mirrored universe.
Light beams me places,
Sometimes when it is bright,
But more helpful in the dark.
I can’t talk.
I’m a mute.
In a way I can see though.
Sign and body language is one of my many skills.
I can travel at intense speeds of light.
And stare vacancy back at you,
Through a ripple strewn pond.
I am life.
Just as I help with solar power.
If used wrong,
Through something small and circular,
An ant I’ll rain down my terror.
I can be dangerous,
So don’t abuse my power.
I can be best seen at night,
Even given from a hearth,
A fire.
I have a polar opposite,
As I am light,
And the other is dark.
I’ve many a use,
And can only be seen,
Through sight.
So come on bright spark,
What am I?
As Without me,
The people of the world would end up looking,
Ever so strange and obtuse!
What am I?
I am everlasting reflection.
