What DO we need??

Our lives are busy,  time goes so fast
Cars, buses and trains to catch
Rushing to work, always in a hurry
No time to notice, outside it's so sunny.
Money is the goal, there is never enough
Life and it's journey can be so tough.

But stop for a minute, what is it all for?
Is there one thing in life that we really need more?
It's not the big house, it's not the car
It's not that big holiday that takes you afar.

It's the people we love, the warmth we share
We need to appreciate what's already there
So take time to notice them every day
Kiss and hug them before you go on your way
Because time is precious, you can't wind it back
And even if the weather is cloudy and black
They are still there when you feel all alone
Loving arms waiting when you get home

Show your love, show you care
Appreciate what's good while it's still there
