Poem -

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
So swallow pain and you'll live longer.
Skating on thin ice
Calculating the price..

Each person's reality a different view
Taking turns in the alternate realities queue
Boundless passions
Limited rations.

Your dreams attacked by a one horned beast
Whose only intention was to gorge and feast
A tableau of lies
Black hearts that fly.

You offered him heaven
He fed you his hell
Nursing on your proffered breast
Leaving you burnt out like phosphorous.

Parched in a vacuous hole
Goddess shrouded in a spectral soul
"Sacrificial lamb slaughtered"
Mind born thoughts quartered...

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
You cling to life a little longer
For those who love you, you march on
Close all the doors, lock down to one.
