WHAT HAPPENS I WONDER

What happens I wonder when I sleep 
My eyes are closed and don't hear a peep
I touch the pillow and bury my head 
Grateful to rest in a comfortable bed 

What happens I wonder when I drink 
My lips open wide don't need to think 
All I have to decide should it be hot or cold
Grateful to drink that should be told 

What happens I wonder when I speak 
Words come out everyday of the week 
Some words are short others are long 
Grateful to talk it makes me feel strong 

What happens I wonder when I wash 
Makes me feel good and rather posh 
I use soap and have running water too
Grateful for so many things are you ?
