What I am to you

What I am to you...?

I walk down streets and you tell me what to be

I look at myself and I ask who you need me to be

I am joke to you, a clown

I am a rock you to, you weigh me down

And to another I play the role

I am not one, I am many.

I’m fractured, a mirror, a reflection, a penny.

I dance in fields and I ask you what are we?

You look in my eyes and you tell me who to be

And I run

You follow me, quick with pace, you look in my face

I take your chemicals but yet you aren't my place

I blow

I go

I run

I listen to your jokes, you weigh me down

I defy your ego; I am not many I am one.

I hit you in the eyes, I ask you who you are

I ask who the girls are.

I awake with questions

I have come too far
