What If...? by ceniqua l proctor/ nicole reed

What do you do when the closest people to you abandon you,
when you're trapped,
No one understands,
When love has grown cold.
Sources are limited,
Stakes are high,
Misery stands victimized.
My mind is drained of its final rational thought.
I envision my desire that was once at the tip of my grasp.
Oh how I seek to have it but I'm afraid of what i deserve.
The times I cry alone release me momentarily.
Truth Is...
I have real issues.
No one can shelter my heartache.
My heart is heavy,
I feel the split tear deeper than last.
So I ask you,
What do you do when you're tired?
You start to move slower to keep up with yourself.
You are your toughest competitor.
You are your only way out.
The joy seems to be faded and cluttered with emotion.
The emotion that you thought ended,
The realization of obstacles you had to face one way or another.
What if options ran out and you didn't have the opportunity to FIX IT?

Very good question my friend!!.........that last line is a tough one...........people have done some pretty awful things when they feel abandoned........and that the world has let them down..........your write is VERY compelling ........and easily relatable too many I'm sure..........I just hope it's not ALL true........and that you are ok Ceniqua..........love and rockets!!...........T xx
Well I believe that through the struggles you have to write things down or get them off your chest. Then you are able to regroup and grow. I write from the heart but i use it in a constructive way. Thanks so much for commenting and for your concerns...
Great perspective poetry
Life is a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Somethings I can't get bk but God blessed b with a new day with opportunity. I can't live in regret but I can use the testimony to have a more grace walk in this world
