What Is Life?
Inspired by Tony Taylor’s powerful poem “Exploring Eternity”

E is equal to MC squared
The genius Einstein thus deduced
Energy and time are proportionate
Eternities seduced
.
We float through this short lifetime
In but a stepping stone to the next
Searching for life’s meaning
So constantly perplexed
.
.
For what is this life
What is it’s end I must face
Where do I go next?

I love Philosophy and how it demands us to think but then I also enjoy Physics because it demands us to think logically. Many people like facts and what they can see but can we really disregard all that we cannot see with the naked eye? I like the idea of possibility and thinking outside of the box and I think that it is what you have done, really fluently, in this poem, Larry. Well-written and I look forward to other pieces of your work, if it is anything like this one!

Great poem Larry you know I have hread 2 theories about where your soul goes ones you die, 30 years ago I was talking to lady who was astrologist and also may have been part of the cosmos in life she said that ones you die your soul immediately will to where you will
learn your new life she said it takes 40 years after that you are reborn agin,Now 40 years later I just heard this year that scientists are saying that when you die your soul goes to where are to go and thay say that the memory of your life goes with you and also what say is that in this life the family you have and all the friends that you have now as well as pets will be in your next life as well but as different people so its is interesting know what is out there and will happen

That is an amazing story you have related. It is an interesting theory that it takes forty years for your Soul to be reborn. But the second theory from scientists, that your Soul goes to a place where your past life will surround you, including family, friends, and pets. If that is true, it would certainly alleviate the fear of dying, knowing that on the other side, you will be reunited with those loved ones that you treasured in this lifetime.
