Is truth just truth
Or is it all just a lie
Is truth really truth
Or are we all meant to die
What is truth when
When your life is a lie
When people are degrading
Your every single sigh
Is life just a lie
Or are we living truth
That God is real
And we are all proof
There is a question

Is truth like the bible
Living in youth
Is truth like a friend
Saying kind words
To lift you up
To make you feel heard
The thing truth is
And what it means to me
Is the Holy Word
God’s given me
But what is truth
When words come like lies
Do you speak the truth
Or do you try to hide
When all around you
Words weep like lies
Like little criminals
Like little spies
Does truth make you sad
or makes you happy too
Does truth ever make you
All sad and blue
A question I get asked
I get asked a lot
Is life worth living
Worth more than I thought
Yes, because truth is the word
It is the biggest thought
The most valuable thing
That can’t be bought.
