What is Wonderment ?

I want to write of wonderment to blow away your mind
but then again where on earth is such a thing and is it there to find ?
Is wonderment a fascination that is written in the stars or hidden in some distant hemisphere locked behind bolted bars ?
Well all these puzzlements are perplexing as I am searching high and low
I need to leave a lasting impression which you will dream about you know

Oh if only I could conjure up wonderment in my life and verse but then again I would have nothing else to write about so my accomplishment could be a curse
Ah well I shall simply do as I have always done with my pen and that is to write about this and that and anything else and start again
I want to be a wiffle waffle wordsmith that delights my reader’s eyes, to transport them away within tangents of timelessness amidst lost sensations of surprise
