What makes humans human?

What makes humans human is a question we could ask ourselves

Though we never do surpass ourselves and knowledge stays the same

Is our sense of morality what keeps us humans abreast?

Excluding those whose lay morality to rest

Is it the sense of evil we have inside us all?

Or thinking “Is there a higher call?”

Is the thing that makes us human a lack of wings?

No that’s not it we realise when reality sings

And then we are left with a penultimate suggestion

Are we made human by the concepts that we question?
