“What Now” (Inspired by Rihanna)

I can’t ignore the majesty. Such glorious inflection. The
Mirror, gnawing at its reflection. [Selah] Here I stand, a
Glorious miracle. How to repay such divinity. And I waver,
Wailing: “What Now?” Arise, my fever flame, demand
Truth. For something so tender, dies softly. I cry the
Warlock, if only to extract pain; and deep repentance, my
Flaming dove. Something’s laughing: a mirror scar; and
Something’s mourning: a laughing mirror. Scrape the
Bone, extract the magic. My teary-eyed muse, hewn
Emotion—for such is love. I swallowed a camel, my
Aching heart, and died a living life. And still, so dry, pleading
Emotion; and still, so wet, pleading emotion. Awaken, my
Knife—ravish love. Else, the guffaw—a tier of laughter;
And my love, forgive the love.
