What Will It Take

Is nature cruel...
or quietly kind in ways
so mysterious...like the expanse of heaven
that renders us stardust.
Where did we learn such cruelty
and forget such compassion?
History seems like endless reincarnation
filling footsteps of days gone by
What! What will...it...take...
to break our campaign of viral hate?
MORE THAN THIS...is the cry of the chakra
"Tell me of love not vain and lost."
As sure as the darkness rains down
the sparks of the logos rage bright
to give vision to those who would see
the forest of life despite its trees
