WHAT YOU ARE TO ME

WHAT YOU ARE TO ME

Imagine the sky
Black as Coal
Darker than Satan's soul
And you are the only light I see

Imagine being rapped in white
With a pulse so weak
Placed on a ice cold sheet
Prepared for that eternal sleep

But you recognized my teary eyes
Thus keeping me alive
Because of you I've escaped
Being buried alive

Imagine a ship at sea
Tossed to and fro
With a broken compass
Ready to kiss the oceans floor

Then like the calm of a feather's voice
You still the waves and hushed the noise
Spoiling deaths plans
I safely drift to dry land
Because of you

You are to me
That and more
You are the beat of my heart
And the core of my soul.
