He told many stories that didn't ring true
If you believe them that's up to you
He was known round here as whatever Trevor
His stories were as unpredictable as the British weather

Take the time he said he went to the moon
Or the time he went mountaineering backwards in June
Some stories are far fetched and quite absurd
Passed on from generations or so I've heard

Whatever Trevor puts a smiles on faces that is for sure
The stories are plentiful and I have many more
As I say it's up to you if you believe
His stories are more interesting than sarcastic Steve
