When
" The life of a Man "

When â â The life of a Man â
When the life of a man, is struck by lightning again,
When the first is so hard to cemprehend.
When all of his emotions, cast upon rough oceans,
When the second, is waivered to a solution.
Where he wanders the world, because of his girl,
Where he ask himself, what am i doing in hell.
Where he look to the sky, with wide open eyes,
Where he tells himself, where is my pride.
Who am i to seek, to solve such a mystery,
Who caused all these worthy conflicts upon me.
Who is avoidable, with so many to gamble,
Who gave me all her troubles, just for herself to heal.

This seems to me to be a poem about someone who loves but maybe not always the right person and maybe not reciprocated. "Struck by lightning again" has the feel to me of a "coup de foudre" scenario and the writer is still trying to understand a previous relationship. And as we move towards the end of the poem the writer asks questions maybe about doubts they are having related to the repetition of mistakes made. Sorry if I am wrong.Â
