When I Die

When I die, I want to remember the things that I have done

When I die, I want to die knowing that I was loved by someone  

When I die, I want to die knowing that I will be remembered

When I die, I want the life that I have lived to be treasured

When I am dying there is no light, no heaven, and no hell

when I am dying there is no promise of an eternal doomed spell

The only spell to be cast onto me is the promise of eternal sleep

When I am dying what I will feel is finally all encompassing peace 

When I am dead that will be the end of the story that is my life

When I am dead I hope to be remembered as a mother, a daughter

and a loving wife
