Poem -

When I lock eyes

     When I lock eyes
with a grandchild of mine
the wheels start churning
I know with every word and every sight and every sound
This child is growing and growing
     When I lock eyes
with a grandchild of mine
The world stops moving
I know, it’s a very special moment
so I want to write this poem they can
read it
When I lock eyes
