WHEN I WAS THIRTEEN

When I was thirteen I pulled my sister's hair
She complained to mum but I didn't care
When I was thirteen I had spots on my chin
Teenage acne appeared on my teenage skin

When I was thirteen I noticed the opposite sex
For a teenage boy they had dazzling effects
When I was thirteen I went to a lot bigger school
Trying to fit in by acting both smart and cool

When I was thirteen I lived on chips and sweets
Trying to act tough on the corners of streets
When I was thirteen is now so many years ago
Where has that time gone is what I'd like to know
