When Irish Eyes Are Smiling---For Jason

My dearest friend from Ireland, Poet Laureate Jason Brown;
Has been dealing with a minor setback, his spirits have been down!
But his Irish Eyes will smile again, for this problem comes to end;
He’ll be penning poems of poignancy, the eager world now waits him send!
For months my life’s been arduous, without his wit to me sustain;
It’s been like being stranded in the desert, with no water nor no rain!
My brain is parched and thirsting, for this “Oasis of a Man”;
To bring me mental sustenance, like no other ever can!
So hurry home my “Danny Boy”, pick up your mighty pen;
My heart has been so lonely, no time with you to spend!
Bow me over with your wisdom, that my brain can then absorb;
For you are one of the greatest intellects, on this Planet Earth, our orb!
“Eire” is his Homeland
But he lives in all our hearts
For his, is pure gold

An awesome tribute and public addressing of that hole that was left in the fabric of Cosmo's poetic universe!!.....JASON!! Such a bright and brilliant star has been sorely missed, and will continue to be missed ~ for when his potent words touch your poems comment section it is more than a simple pat on the back...,,it is as if your favorite literature professor has spent a VERY thorough amount of time comprehending your intent ....and giving you the kind of inspiring feedback that ANY poet, of ANY caliber, craves to receive !!
Dear brother poet LARRY,

PS. Larry my computer has a glitch.... I don't mean to change my font from italic to normal..... my computer makes up its own mind about it..... So please don't think that I'm changing fonts on purpose...... it's in the hands of the God's LOL!!..... sorry about this!!......T xo ?✳✴☀♥
Hi Tony,
I seem to be having a similar problem with mine. The way I've been able to address it, is to highlight each section at a time. That most always does the trick. Hope your gets better soon. You definitely do not have to apologize to us. Changing the font does not change the wordds, which are whats important.
All my best,
Linda xxx
P.S. Larry says that you to know, that he is computer illiterate, and I do all the publishing, etc.
P.S.S. Love to you and all yours too.
My Dear Brother Tony,
I read your beautiful words a few hours ago, but wanted to allow enough time for them to sink in and give them my proper response. First, when it comes to Jason, I consider him and you my two greatest male friends on Cosmo. Of course, the word "friend" does not cut it, how about "poetic soulmate". It is very interesting, that in a private message to him, I used the exact same simile as you did in your comment to me, saying that he was like my favorite professor, that has been on a temporary hiatus, and thus I have been deprived of his brilliant mind. Next, I think there are many of us on Cosmo, whose number one concern is our fellow man, and no matter how we convey our messages, we have the good of the people in our hearts and souls. I know my way of commenting on beautiful works is different from the norm, but it gives me great joy to respond to a lovely poem in a poetic way. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I am generally up by one a.m., and have those quiet wee hours of the morning, surrounded by the beautiful New Age sounds of nature, to compose my poetry and comments. Sometimes, it feels like I'm almost in a trance, for the pen does all the work, as I float through the Universe. As does Jason have a friend in me, so do you forever.
Peace, Love and Rockets,
Larry xxx
for Larry...
Great warmth is here encompassed in our orb
{As colder orbs elide their several paths}
Such nourishment exudes, to be absorbed
from wandering bodies of fraternal cast.
Each wanderer must tread its settled course
Through Heaven’s deep-tread patterns (to the end)
And though each pathway’s drawn by subtle force
This orb is soft drawn on by you, my friend:-
So in your gentle wisdom, kindly trace
our several roads, as often they converge
upon the welcome warmth of your embrace
as deep, poetic patterns now emerge.
Emergent and convergent ~ all attuned
So sculpted in the light of friendship’s boon.
your friend & fan,
Jason
My Dear Friend Jason,
CosmoFunnel has been my nexus to some of the greatest minds in the world. I came on with a broken heart and shattered soul, due to the sudden death of my beloved soulmate Nico (which I am still recuperating from). His passing was my harbinger for picking up a pen, and with every tear soaked word, finding some solace creating poetic eulogies in his honor. Then one day, my wife Linda, discovered Cosmo, and for almost two years now, through osmosis from brilliant artists, my "oeuvre" has blossomed. I have found total joy in not only creating poems, but also responding to them in poetic form. There is a cherished orb, a coterie of a very select few, that when I came into contact with them, I instantly felt a juxtaposition of our souls. These beautiful words from one of them, I shall frame and cherish for the rest of my life.
My soul sobs in joy
Blessed with beautiful words
From a lifelong friend
Ever your friend,
Larry xxx
