When the Midnight Bell Rings

My soul sings, When the Midnight Bell rings
Such a sweet sound, Echoes all around
From the bell tower, At the midnight hour
The chorus cracks my mind, Leaving behind
Pieces of thought, So easily forgot
Precious things, When the Midnight Bell rings
Others must hear it, But do they fear it
The harsh hymn, It sings to them
The sound is like thunder, It pulls me under
I see his face, All over the place
I cannot see the sound, That pulls me down
He is my king, Let the Midnight Bell ring
His vicious voice, Leaves me no choice
But to obey, Unwillingly stay
He wants my compliance, To start our defiance
Against the day, Father make it go away
The sun is infernal, Make it night eternal
The light cannot compare...
To what darkness brings, When the Midnight Bell rings
