When the time is right

When you look up to the night sky,
The stars appear to shine,
It doesn’t matter where you live,
It happens all the time,

But what if there was someone,
Who stared at stars like you,
And wondered where they’re going
And wishing that they knew. 

We spend our time all working,
For things we think we need,
Money, cars and items,
To satisfy our greed. 

But what we’re all forgetting ,
Is these things don’t make us whole, 
In fact the only gift that does,
Is to love right from your soul.

Love can come in many forms,
But very few will feel,
A love that will encompass,
The things you don’t reveal.

To have that love is precious,
But to keep it, means to give,
Your heart and soul to someone else,
To enhance the life they live. 

For one day you will wake up,
And wish you’d spent the time,
Nurturing your special one,
And living love divine.

I do not have the answers,
All I have is quiet strength,
That one day I will find the one,
For whom my love was meant
