WHEN WE WERE YOUNG

WHEN WE WERE YOUNG

Remember when we were very young
Paper planes and flying kites
Dressing up on Halloween night
Making guys for fireworks
As the night set alight
The times we had were the best

Memories we will hold from then to now
And to when we are very old
And when our minds begin to break
And bodies begin to rot
Then to the universe our souls will flock

Making memories in a place
Where we are free to stay
Climbing trees as we sail away

Making memories in a place
Where we are free to stay
Climbing trees as we sail away

As we sail away.
