Poem -

When Will We See

The spirals stare
But the world doesn't care
Who notices but I
That the shapes are a lie

An illusion for the mind
No one cares enough to find
Answers lay in part
Searching each and every heart

Something to destroy
End this desperate ploy
Stronger swifter swirls
Capturing all the boys and girls

Locking them away
All their dark and shadowed days
In the darkened shaded shapes
The world dons its drapes

And I wonder
When will we see?
