Poem -

When You Pause.

When You Pause.

In a dream without sleeping,
Building houses which can’t be homes.
Ever restless, never travelling,
Too much nothing where you roam.

News travels, fast like lightning,
Facts get lost within its wake.
Hearts of glass beating louder,
Past the point they take to break.

Lover’s letters go unwritten,
Moonlit dancing’ never got done.
Time wasted, flogged and waning,
Beneath the patient tangerine sun.
