Whence the Tears
A tear has dropped, unto wonder, such allusion, light and
Slumber. Plus confusion, a fabled dream, a flaming torch,
And truth extreme. Feel the collar, of subtle pain, a
Driving force, the plight of Spain. And deep within, a
Silent scream, the heart of angst, a sullen stream. Thus the
Spirit, bleeding peace, the myth of Christ, and mystic grief.
But soul to God, a fluid crypt, the art of pain, and fallen
Script.
A tenet strong, this ancient claim, the age of Greece, and
Mortal flame. Thus the ballad, the darkest gloom, a
Shapeless soul, the bleeding moon. And tears to earth, the
Depth of prayer, the kiss of God, and light despair. And
Heart to pain, the grave of breath, the life of tears, and
Cryptic death.Â
