Where are you?

It’s but emptiness everywhere
Even in the midst of rainforest
There are no trees, no greenery!
In the sky, no clouds, no colours,
In the sea, no waves, no boats,
In the land, no birds, no chirping;
The rendezvous we liked most once,
The places where we spent together,
The first time I kissed you,
The pedal boat  we rowed together,
The coffee shop where we sat for hours,
Forgetting to sip the coffee,
The single wooden bridge we crossed
Every evening while strolling,
The coconut tree, touching down
The river, with monkeys atop
The setting Sun, glowing in red
The birds, flying back to their nests,
The Moon, peeping out like a
Newly wed watching her husband,
The white sand shore we rolled and rolled
The bus stop we waited for the bus never to come,
The fishing point where we never fished,
The dark swelling cloud sky to pour down
To get wet in the rain;
And now, without you by my side,
Everything appears lifeless,
barren and void, indeed!
I can’t anymore endure
The kind of life I am in
And that I had dreamt of!
Let us be together forever,
No matter wherever you are,
Here I follow you, searching
As a soul, though invisible to others!
