Poem -

Where is dog?

Where is dog?

Where is dog
amongst the ruins
sniffing through the rubble
through  dusty rooms,
Forlorn and frightened
By a master
That beats
and bleats
That knows no mercy
to those it greets, so
To no avail
For destinys' journey
an empty jail,
 in which
that scream was heard
in the deep concrete
Between pillars
Listen close
Ear to ground
Is the quintessential sound
The deepest
and the utmost
cry for help
where, amongst the rubbles
can be heard,
First in whispers
then  word
a cry,
the human sigh
of dignity, where
Where is dog?

I love your comment; making an animal

suffer is a crime, true!

Your comment is powerful,

thank you Tina for coming by Jai :)
